What Is BLASPHEMY?

What Exactly Is BLASPHEMY?

Doc Iman Blak·Thursday, March 30, 2017 Reads

The word BLASPHEMY is derived from the Greek blasphemeo; it is defined as meaning, “To revile or speak impiously of Divine Things or the use of words and/or speech to deliberately slander another, particularly with self-serving motives”. The New Testament was originally written in the Greek language, and then translated in English and other languages. The word blásphemos is a compound of two root words, “blapto,” and “pheme,”. The term “blasphemy” is not a direct translation from Greek to English, but rather, “blasphemy,” is a transliteration of the Greek word, “blasphemeo.” A transliteration is using a word in English that sounds similar to the original Greek word. The CHURCH has done severe damage to the Brain-Mind of Afrikan People; causing unwarranted Fear and Oppression, by dangling this ‘deadly sin’ over the heads of Afrikan People to keep them in line and conformity to the Christian belief system established on the concept of Blasphemy. Blasphemy was even incorporated into early english common law, and certain crimes were punishable as ‘Blasphemy against the State’.
